Collies and the Cold
I don’t know about other collies, but our collies love the cold weather. Not to stay out in it too long, mind, but they love to go out and play in the snow. We recently had some snow.. not much, but enough to freeze the ground and cover the grass. And Tatum just loves going out and hopping around like a bunny rabbit. She was even getting Tony to play with her the other day, and Tony is not really a big player.
Tatum even likes to go chew her bones in the snow. I try to bring her in, as she doesn’t have the thickest coat in the world, being a smooth. But still, she likes it out there!
I prefer staying inside, and would much prefer being in a Hawaii bed and breakfast where it’s nice and warm!
