Tired Collies
Collies are pretty amazing in that they can range so widly in energy level. Our collies are a great example of this. Lucy, who is our pack Marm, is fairly low in energy. She likes to stay home and chew bones and lay on the couch. She does like short walks but she has a limp we have never been able to get rid of, so she doesn’t like to go very far. She has always been fairly low energy.
Tatum is the opposite end of the spectrum. She keeps up with our border collie and could use a treadmill to burn off a bunch of her energy. Tonight she is very tired, though, as we were out for about 5 hours today doing do training and socialization. She is sleeping peacefully in her dog bed.
Levi is in the middle, he likes the couch, but he likes to go out and do agility, too. Tony is, I think, also in the middle. He’s happy if he gets to snooze most of the day, but he is also happy if he gets to go on fun walks.
