We Love you Sammy
I am very sorry to say that Sammy left this world a week ago and went to explore the great afterlife. No one knew he had cancer, the family that had to give him up, his foster home (us), or his new family. We are still getting in the details of his passing, but he left this world last week in his sleep. We do know he had advanced lympho-sarcoma.
We are very sad, and have shed more than one tear. We love you Sammy, we miss you, and we are glad and enriched that you touched our lives.
Each dog that comes through our house takes a piece of our heart with them when they go. But somehow, we are richer for losing that piece of our heart. And we wouldn’t trade getting to know these wonderful dogs for a million dollars. The dogs are so much more valuable than any amount of money.
Run free, Sammy. We will always miss you.
