Going to the Airport
I managed to arrange my schedule so that I can get to the airport Saturday morning to meet the dogs and the people from Houston. I’m excited. My sister is going to drive to my house and follow me out to the airport. It’ll be early, 6:45 am. I want to get there at least 30 minutes early. So I will be getting up early and heading out. I can’t transport any of the dogs, my car will be packed for travel and I’ll have Chase and Levi with me, but I can be there and meet everyone.
Also, I just got a call from someone interested in adopting Hudson. Very nice family. So I have people interested in three of the dogs already. Of course it could end up that none of them work out. And it could end up that all of them work out. My collie rescue people will be able to do home checks and get paperwork filled out while I am gone. If Hudson is in a home by the time I get back I would be thrilled!
But as everyone knows in rescue, an adoption is never complete until the dog has been in the new home for at least a couple of months. I wonder if Hudson is good with cats.
