I am excited, yesterday in the mail we got a couple of microchip scanners! They might get stuck on collars or cufflinks, but they will help out a lot. And they were donated free, too, to Utah Collie Rescue. They are international scanners so they will be able to pick up all types. I scanned all six of our dogs we currently have, and found them all.

Sonny’s chip has moved a bit, but that’s okay, as long as it is still there. This is a huge help, now if we pick up dogs off the street we can find out, right away, if they have a microchip. We don’t do that often, but sometimes. About a month ago we picked up a couple of Dalmatians taking a walk down a fairly busy road. We opened the door of the car and they jumped right in! That was rare. They had tags and were sweet as bugs, so we were able to take them right home. Their people were very grateful.

Anyway, we are happy to have microchip scanners!
