Jessi’s Tongue
It’s just not often that I get a good photo of a dog with her tongue right on her face. 
This one was pure luck! Jessi is doing great in her foster pack. She is getting along and learning to play. We think she didn’t have other dogs where she came from, because she doesn’t seem to know good dog play etiquette. But she is learning and she is doing so well.
She loves breakfast and dinner, now. She is good at waiting, though impatiently. It takes a while to feed six dogs, so she sits and fidgets and sometimes lets out a little woof. But she doesn’t’ jump on the counters and she waits when she is done to leave the kitchen. She is first finished, now, and she is not supposed to visit the other dogs when they are still eating.
Her foster home is no Bellagio hotel, but it’s cozy and warm and safe and she gets a ball thrown for her every day, and good treats, too!
