The Collies are Coming!
And it looks like it’s happening! We are getting four collies from Houston. Bianca and Tatum are girls, Bianca is about 7 and Tatum is about 2. We are also getting two boys, Hudson is about 4 and a smooth, and Tony is about 7 and a rough. Tony is the only rough we are getting.
I love smoothies! We are having a bit of a problem finding foster homes, but I don’t think that is unusual. In rescue, the most important resource is foster homes. So they might have to be boarded for a week. Because, of course, I’m going out of town on September 1st, the day they are flying in. So until I get back they might have to wait. I do have one temporary foster home, and hopefully I’ll get a couple more, but we’ll see.
Anyway, it’s working out. They were going to be flown to Aspen, Colorado, but looks like the pilot who is donating his time and his plane, will be able to make a stop in Salt Lake. Yay!
We have such an amazing network of collie rescue people in this country. I am amazed and overjoyed. I will keep this blog updated (while I’m in town) with the progress of these collies.
We shouldn’t need any term life insurance to set this up, but if we do, we’ll know where to go!
