I unfortunately cannot walk my girl as much as I used to. She tires easily now and her hip pains her (arthritis). But we get out often for short walks and she is OK with that. Her favorite thing right now is barking out the window when we are driving somewhere- at what, I have NO idea! Just high spirits I guess! I let her get away with so much anymore..... ;)

Yup Ladybug, my girls are a bit lazy... but my boy likes to run. But we get the girls out for walks and exercise anyway.

But SOME collies are couch potatoes! Of course, for the health of the collie, exercise is a must, and it wouldn't hurt the couch 'tater owner to get out there and walk their best friend. As stated above though, most collies require plenty of exercise to keep healthy and their minds occupied and out of trouble. An unexercised collie will create their own games to play and you may not like the consequences! So get out there and play with your collie! Take them for a good long walk- you'll both appreciate it!
