Jewel
Jewel came from a shelter in Idaho. She is a tri-colored rough coated girl. She was living on her own near a school yard where a number of teachers were concerned about her. She was matted and covered with burrs, hungry, wet, and alone. Too afraid to come to anyone, she was finally trapped and brought to the shelter. A wonderful group of people removed her burrs and cleaned her up. A bone was found lodged in her jaw, which was removed by a veterinarian. She received great care and medication until she was ready to travel to us. Before the burrs were removed she had a long full rough collie coat. Jewel is a complete doll and very sweet. Through all her treatments she was shy, yet patient. She loves to play with toys, go on walks, and run around in the yard. Jewel is truly a Jewel, and her adoption donation is $125.00 which will help cover her medical costs. She is in need of a very special home. Are you the one destined to give Jewel her forever home?
